Flinders O’Neill men’s footballers captured their first South Australia championship since 1992 last Saturday, after a dominant 6-17 to 2-13 win over Na Fianna.
Conor Marsden was unstoppable with 2-6, earning Best on Ground and sealing a dream league and championship double for the club.
The win also marked the end of an era for coach Val Ward, who ends his 8-year tenure on a high. Val will now focus on leading the Australasia men’s football team at the GAA World Games in July.
