Welcome to Australasia Gaelic Games – the home of Gaelic games in Australia and New Zealand.

Founded in 1974, Australasia Gaelic Games is the governing body for Gaelic games across Australasia. We oversee Gaelic football, hurling, and camogie through nine regional affiliates: Auckland, Canterbury and Wellington in New Zealand; and New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, and Western Australia in Australia.

Each year, over 5,000 players of all ages take to the field in men’s and women’s competitions, celebrating skill, teamwork, and the proud traditions of our sports.

Our mission is ‘fostering and promoting Gaelic games across Australia and New Zealand’. From grassroots development to championship finals, we’re dedicated to creating opportunities for everyone to get involved – whether as players, coaches, supporters, or volunteers.

Whether you’re an experienced player or completely new to Gaelic games, there’s a place for you in our vibrant and welcoming community.
