Key tournament information
- This year’s Australasia Championships will be a four-day tournament running from Wednesday 2 to Saturday 5 October 2024 at Gaelic Park in Melbourne.
- 24 state teams will be taking part across 6 competitions: women’s senior football; men’s senior football; women’s intermediate football; men’s intermediate football; camogie; and hurling.
- Games will be 15 players a side with squads of up to 22 allowed.
- Free entry from Wednesday to Friday. $10 admission for the finals on Saturday (does not apply to players and management).
- The finals will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel and Facebook page.
- Special guests include: GAA President, Jarlath Burns; LGFA CEO, Helen O’Rourke; LGFA President, Mícheál Naughton; Camogie CEO, Sinéad McNulty; Leinster GAA Chairperson, Derek Kent; and Ambassador of Ireland to Australia, Tim Mawe.
- Celebrations will take place at a gala ball at Zinc, Federation Square, Melbourne from 6.30pm to 11pm on Saturday 5 October. Tickets are AUS$170 per person, and must be pre-purchased by teams/states beforehand. Tournament All-Stars will be presented at the ball.
