80+ teams take to Melbourne for the Pearse’s Sevens

The Pearse’s Sevens – one of the largest Gaelic games tournaments outside Ireland – took place in Melbourne on Sunday 22 February.

With more than 80 teams from across Australia, hundreds of players, and thousands of spectators, the event delivered a brilliant celebration of Irish games and culture in Melbourne’s Gaelic Park.

Congratulations to all winners:

Men’s Senior Football: Cormac McAnallen’s (Sydney)
Ladies Senior Football: Sinn Féin (Melbourne)
Hurling: Cormac McAnallen’s (Sydney)
Camogie: Craobh Phadraigh (Sydney)
Men’s Intermediate Football: Easts Celts (Brisbane)
Ladies Intermediate Football: Greenwood (Perth)

It was fantastic to have Clubber travel over from Ireland to capture all the action throughout the day. Congratulations to Padraig Pearse’s Melbourne on hosting another outstanding tournament that continues to strengthen and showcase the GAA community in Australasia.
